The Charm Cake

Almost 3  1/2 years ago I was a bridesmaid in my dear friend Pamela’s wedding.  As a part of her Bridesmaid’s luncheon there was a Charm Cake for the attendees.  You know the drill, each one of us pulled a charm and were presented with a card as to what that Charm meant for us.  Well…

Fast forward to this past Saturday night when I received a text from my SS Sarah, who was with Pamela, asking me what Charm I had indeed pulled from the cake over 3 years ago.  Did I remember? Yes, yes I did remember.  I remembered what the card has said more than the charm itself, because at the time it was rather a far fetch for me to grasp.

Am I going to tell you what I pulled & what the card said? Nope, a girl’s gotta keep somethin for herself ;)

Rosina and I, the last 2 to pull our Charms from the Cake

I wouldn’t have thought anything much  about  it until the next text came in:  two  of the  charms had already (well one is in  the process)  come true…

dun dun dunnnnnnnnnn

Now the really exciting part starts.  The part  where you start to see little puzzle pieces fall in  place and one thing leading to another.  Like  Nancy Drew chasing clues, the anticipation  mounting with ending results unknown.

Some people laugh at me for getting excited about and loving these kinds of things.  They say “oh it’s just sheer / random coincidences..”  Which, I’m sure to some extent it is, but something has to be a coincidence for us to take note of it, right?  And where does that fine line divide coincidence and sign?  So will my charm and card come true? I have no idea, but then again that makes it all the more exciting.

By the way, here’s my friskyscope I just got in for this week:

Aquarius Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
As long as you can think it is, it’s possible. Even if you only have a fantasy to hold on to, go with it. You have nothing to lose this week if you want to get lost in your head and see your love life with rose-colored glasses. If a miracle is going to happen, it might happen now, and thinking it is the only way to creating it.

Have a good week, everyone!   xox Jennie B
