This week’s Mah-velous Magnolia goes out to the one and only: Rue McClanahan

A true American Icon who brought her sass and sensuality to your tv screen.  She will indeed be greatly missed by many.  Among many roles she’s most known for the infamously fabulous Blanche Devereaux in The Golden Girls, Rue proved it quite all right for a woman to be sexual and not ashamed of it. Her sassy and always classy attitude on and off screen lead her to truly be a Mah-velous Magnolia, and one from whom we can all learn a lesson or two!

    Oh, I love this video! I’m so sad to hear of Rue passing, but she leaves so many great moments and memories behind.

    She was a Sassy Steel Magnolia in the truest sense. I’d love to live life with the sass of Blanche Devereaux. And the fine print answered my next question. How can I get one of those buttons?

    Such sad news, learning of Rue’s passing. She seemd to really embrace life, and live it to its fullest. Iconic, indeed, she will be missed!

    It was truly a sad day, indeed, but it is so good to see how Rue’s sass and class trickles down to so many wonderful ladies!
