It’s been far too long since my last Mah-velous Magnolia and to kick it back into motion, I can’t think of a better site to send the badge to…..
Every day I find my own self green with envy scrolling through the pieces of work displayed. You need not be an art aficionado to appreciate, admire and find great inspiration in the posts she shares, but you must be comfortable at the thought of being visually stimulated at any given moment. Curious as to who I’m talking about? Well, I’m talking about The Jealous Curator of course!
Since dropping TJC in my reader, I’ve been introduced to such an amazing range of artists from all walks of life and mediums. I’d always wanted to have a stronger appreciation for art, but I didn’t exactly know how – or even where to start – until I met The Jealous Curator. Now my creative side is over flowing …… and I absolutely love it …..
There is one moment, in the first few seconds, when you look at a piece of art and know that you love it. It’s the moment when, if you’re an artist yourself, you look at it and feel a rush of uplifting inspiration… and total soul-crushing jealousy all at the same time. It’s when you walk away thinking, “Damn, I wish I thought of that.”
- The Jealous Curator
I have beyond too many favorites to pick just a few to post here, so you’ll just have to go discover the amazing-ness that is TJC yourself. So….get over to her site right away! But be warned – you may find yourself scrolling & scrolling & losing all track of time. It’s ok, it’s worth it. Trust me. You can also follow The Jealous Curator on Facebook & Twitter.
*a note from jennie b: It looks like Irene is missing our city by the sea, but for my readers farther up the Coast, I’m sending thoughts of safety & clear skies your way. Hunker down, lovies – she’s a feisty lil one.

The Mah-velous Magnolia badge will be awarded on Fridays to a selected lady {or a few..or fellas..we’ll see!} who has had an impact on my week. Who knows — maybe you’ll be up next!
