It only happens every four years and is arguably the most anticipated of all sporting events.

Who are you rooting for this World Cup series??

(And if you’re not watching, you’re missing out. Soccer boys are by far the hottest of all sports boys!)

It’s no secret that Cher is one of my favorite artists ever. I love her older work & I love her newer work.

Big fan of Cher. Big fan.

This song and video has such a great message that everyone can relate to it at some point or another in their lives.  Not to mention it is absolutely one of those songs you listen to full volume, windows down and singing loudly for all to hear.

We all forgive. We all forget. We just keep believing.

*A special Thank You to my Sista Sista, Jessica, who never gets tired of talking me through my less than stellar moments, for being my go to girl on official Sassy Steel Magnolia matters, and for always providing invaluable amounts of love, support and encouragement.*

When you have The Sassy Steel Magnolia spot light aimed in your direction, you’re not only sending out great inspiration for all, you’re taking over the Music Snack as well. Casey has a knack for finding artists and music that speak to you and immediately you’re hooked. She suggested a song by this artist a few weeks ago and I found myself listening to it on repeat over and over for nearly 3 days. (and I can’t stop replaying this song, too!) Turn your speakers up and get ready to smile. This one’s a good one!

I chose this song because not only is she one of my favorite artists (highly recommend entire Careless Love album), but the words to the song correlate with the time period in my life when I realized there was a life to be lived. And there was no better time than the present.

I hope you have all greatly enjoyed having Casey here at The Sassy Steel Magnolia this week. I can not thank her enough for sharing her awesome-ness with all of you! I’ll have to get her to come back soon, indeed. Make sure to stop by A Five Leaf Clover to say hi to Casey and her Savannah crew….there’s always something cookin down in that River Town!

Christian Louboutin PumpsWe all have our little tricks and tips to help boost our confidence. Maybe it’s a certain lipstick, an outfit, or the way we do our hair. We all have a few somethings in our bag.

One of the most common is a great pair of high heels. It’s a never lets you down, always faithful trick that for many automatically gives you more than just a few inches in the height department. Great for business meetings and first dates. Meeting the parents or front row fashion week. High heels are just something that must be on hand and available at will. I even have friends who’ve walked around their house, on a phone interview, wearing sweat pants..and high heels.

Now how do ya like that for a little C-Boost?

From the board room to the board walk & the bed room, a good pair of high heels will do way more than just boost your height.  Skeptical? Try it out this week. You won’t be disappointed!
